I’ve owned one Vauxhall in the past but there’s not one current, or recent, models I’d own and I really struggle with a fantasy 3 car garage....can you beat these...

Interesting, assuming road cars only I would say VX220, Monaro and Lotus Charlton.

It appears that, for the most part, the Vauxhalls I would choose to own are not really Vauxhalls, or are at least heavily bettered by another company.

I don't hate the brand as much as some do, I just don't really like what they produce. Having said that, I do hate the Corsa as that gives me back ache for weeks after driving them!

Droop snoot, Chevette HSR, and Colin...

We love Colin. He's the go to shopping, takeaway, runaround car.

Two Lotuses and a racecar hehe

Yeah pickings are thin.... I'm with the OP on the 220 and Carlton.

If sticking with road cars and if Opels are also eligible, then I'd be tempted by the Opel GT, and the Kadett GSi 16V Superboss

Droop Snoot Firenza or, as a compromise, a Magnum 2300 Coupe or Sports hatch since only 204 Snoots were made

Chevette HS as I never liked my Astra GTE 16v

Probably a Carlton 3000 GSi although today's Insignia Gran Sport is said to be best in its class.

I've got two, I'd probably have a Lotus Carlton to make the numbers up. Or maybe a Chevette HS, or a HSR. But a VX220 looks appealing too.

Oh well, stick to these for now. I'm not really aware of the current range - I keep seeing modern cars out and about and being surprised to see a Vauxhall badge on them.

Picking 3 is difficult as Vauxhall used to make decent cars...

Cavalier Turbo
Lotus Carlton
Astra GTE 16v

But, I'd also like;

Astra GTE Mk1
Senator 24v
Carlton GSi 3000 24v
Cavalier GSi 2000
Cavalier SRi 130 Saloon and hatch
Cavalier Calibre

I'm probably forgetting some as well.

Probably rose tinted specs but i have very fond memories of all three.

I had a Nova GSi when i was 18 and loved it and had the cavi turbo not too long after and it felt like a spaceship at the time!

My dad had the senator 3.0 24v when i was about 15 and i thought it was amazing, made a lovely noise as well!

VX220 turbo

ETA: if we can have "foreigners" I'd swap the Sportshatch for a Can Am 302...

Close, but strictly speaking the proper versions of those cars are Holden Special Vehicles and have more in common with a Corvette than any Vauxhall.
