Was there ever a manual Citroen SM?

Did the Canadian cars have the "nice" (non-fixed / sealed beam) front end? I ask as this Canadian car (in London) has the nicer (moving) lights: https://www.dukeoflondon.co.uk/product-page/citroe...

Canadian original cars were same as US but Canada has a 15 year import rule for used cars compared to the US 25 year rule,. so some got here earlier. At a guess they retrofitted the Euro lights as part of the rest.LeoSayer said:
vixen, I think you have a new purpose...recreate that photo!
Funny you should say that, I've been thinking the same thing. But what sticks in my mind about that picture from the time was the fact that it was a right hand drive car, hence standing on that side. Even at that young age I knew it was a rarity.
Just hope prices don't go through the roof before I can get one though.

No cars left the factory in RHD I think? But what sticks in my mind about that picture from the time was the fact that it was a right hand drive car, hence standing on that side. Even at that young age I knew it was a rarity.

I always like a private RHD conversion

A handful or even less were converted by Citroen in Slough as a special order as far as I'm aware. I always like a private RHD conversion
^^
Apparantly not.
A quick search shows three were done for Citroen, Slough by Middleton Motors:

Still have the original sales brochure somewhere, it's quite something if you've not seen it.

Just oozes early '70s glamour doesn't it.... this one and a few others are given good coverage in Brian Long's excellent SM book, Veloce publishing have done a few others to the same high standard including the Dino 246 and Urraco.http://ehrlichmotorwerks.com/blog/2015/10/8/1970-c...
When my garage revamp is finished I'm having this pic blown up and put on the wall...
