I believe that also has comfort seats and steels which is not what Im after but thanks
I would seriously hold tight as these are set to drop significantly and are currently hugely overpriced. 992 Touring imminent.Whatever you do, buy through reputable Dealer, I would not advocate buying privately having recently been subjected to a protracted runaround. Good luck.

I wouldn’t bank on 991.2 prices coming down. I know that the right spec cars are selling for £180k at the moment. 992 wont affect price of 991 as you won’t be able to get one.
You got one, I got one ,most people on here have a GT3 or RS.The early launch is so people can buy them.

Not sure I agree I’m afraid. They are advertised at £170...they are selling at a lot less. Trade bid at £145 currently....if you can get them to write cheque.I’ve been offered several.
At the risk of talking residuals....
In my opinion the 992 gt3 will be most common in touring spec. The winged club sport 2nd popular and comfort winged cars last, if any...
If people want comfort seats they will probably have a touring spec.
I don’t see long term 992 gt3 prices differing on the 2nd hand market to be far from winged models, (touring vs winged) all though early tourings will be at largish overs.
I think the 991.2 touring will always be at a greater price than winged cars purely because of rarity and the 911R similarity.
The 992 will obviously be the ‘better’ car as new models always are. But this will be a point of whether the buyer likes the 992 over a 991.
Just as 997 gt3 is possibly to be more sought after than 991 gt3 soon.....
Then of course, what prices are 992 gt3 going to be at list, I should think most good spec cars will be £150k maybe more if new trade charges are applied in 2021.
So buy today what makes you happy and can get. I wouldn’t be wasting another year hoping or worrying about the 992 variant.
And I won’t be selling mine for a 992 version. In fact I dont see myself selling my touring until I really really have too!

Market will be flooded with 992 Tourings end-2021. Not a great time to be dropping £170k+ on a wingless 991.2. Obviously long time dead and all that so ignore the obvious if you have your heart set on one now.
IMO the safe money is on a 991.1 RS @ £150k with 2-years warranty etc etc. Totally different car though, in looks and drive

The 991.2 Touring, long term, will hold its value much better than both a winged version, and a 992 Touring. It’s a numbers game. With only 47 C16 examples, it’ll always be desirable. Rarity trumps just about any other factor.
It may take a short term hit when the 992 Touring is the latest model, but in five years time, 991.2 Tourings will be going for a lot more than 992’s.

I think five have sold in the last three months and I believe they were all advertised for over £170k. With at least three of them over £180k. So, I’m not sure where you are getting your figures from.I’ve been offered several.
I am not sure the 992 Touring will be catastrophic for 991.2 Touring prices. Market has been pretty solid for the last few months when the regular car has shed £10 to £20k. They’ve never really stayed on the market for long and I am not sure that’s going to change...as has been discussed on the GT3 thread there are a lot of people who own 991.2’s that aren’t minded to change to the 992 and I don’t see why that would be any different for the Touring.
I am sure the 992 will be quicker in a straight line and round a track but that’s not everything...especially for the Touring.
Time will tell!
