another set with some other old car pictures from the WA profile end 70-tish, with some more sometimes strange 'animals' you don't see anymore.

GU-71-55 Rover 90 P5 , with on the rear left a BMW 02 series and next to that I guess maybe also a BMW or is it a Merc? in the far right I guess a Toyota Corolla?

MX-29-74 Rover 3 litre and many more, but which one would be your pic... the car on the right, is that a Opel Manta mk1 or a Ford Capri scratchchin

NN-25-56 Studebaker President 1933

PX-95-42 Fiat 500 C Topolino, and some others.

Renault Celtaquatre, Gullwing d... euh bonnet.

Do you mean the one with the white(?) stripe? Mk1 Ford Escort, isn't it?

yes, I meant that one, and I guess you are right, I can now see the short bonnet (were it starts) a Capri has a longer bonnet, did not think about the escort, so well done thumbup

First photo, the Rover is a P5 3-litre (not a 90, which was a P4), same as the one in 2nd photo. Car behind is a second BMW.

I agree re Escort, the stripe made it more difficult to judge the wing tops.

Great photos, as always, thanks.

looked a few up and indeed its such, you can even spot the fuel flap?

Its not a beauty, I think the lines of a 02 is better, more elegant.

you also have such les elegant version of those bigger models, were you have the ala 02 style say 2.8/3.0 CS/CSL etc versions and then the bit less elegant version of those ala 3.0L or something?

I drove one of those les elegant 3.0 or more? versions, must say felt better than I thought smile not sporty but it had some low power grunt and soft suspension and the hood came a bit up when fast accelerating, felt good in a relaxed sort way?

another set with some other old car pictures from the WA profile end 70-tish, with some more, sometimes strange 'animals' you mostly don't see anymore.

SK-64-26 Chevrolet Master C 1935

TK-45-87 Chevrolet Sedan

TK-45-87 Chevrolet Sedan + FS-26-85 MG 1600 A 1957, hm, I believe we've already seen this one in another set from the WA guy, but hey.

UT-77-15 Volvo 444

UT-77-15 Volvo 444

If you look at some of the photos it does look cold and early in the morning, given the condensation on the windows and some gray photos.

A Granada Coupé behind the Volvo. It's a pity that the chap stood beside it is obscuring the wing line, is it a 2-door saloon or a coupé? - I suspect the latter, based on the wheels etc..

This has been done to death previously on PH. That is a 2-door Coupe, most likely (but not definitively) the "coke-bottle" European variant rather than the more angular UK one. IMO.

I agree with that, but have a vague recollection that (not in UK) there was a 2-door straight wing line Granada (Consul?), perhaps poverty-spec, saloon as well as the coke-bottle wing line, or have I imagined that? Or, if two models, were they one and the same bodyshell?

I must have missed the earlier PH thread.

Yes, there was a 2 door saloon as well as 2 different coupes. And an estate, of course. The UK only got the angular coupe, 4 door saloon and estate.

I think I see a 2-door Cortina III and a 2-door Ascona B in there.

I thought it could be a Mazda boxedin

its been a long time since I've seen such Daihatsu Charade 5 door.

I did own a Daihatsu Cuore 1.0 in dark blue from 2003 back in 2016 as a wait for my project car was ready hehe
and I must say that was a funny little 'race' car, made a lovely sound, when going 50km/h it felt like 80 km/h smile it weight nothing.

and such Ford Granada I spotted a few times in the city were I live for a few years, than it disappeared, looked cool/good.

I owned 3 times its little brother the Ford Taunus, 2 of those I bought as a cheap in between car and 1 was a trade in, a automatic.
