Although this is from a different series of photos than those previously posted from another of the WA series around + - 80-tish, I'm seeing many that have already been posted from a different WA series. I try to be mindful of this and haven't posted many of them yet, but my memory is poor, so I'm sure some previously posted ones will pop up every now and then, anyhow, here some more.

I still have 6 pages to go from this series of 11

Volga M21 , and I spot a pastry box, but it doesn't look like there's any normal pastry in it...

66-57-SV Checker Marathon Wagon 1966 / 1972, looks huge.

GE36625 Lancia, but what is that hiding in the bush? 45-51-SZ plate, tried to find it at the Dutch RDW site, but it seems long gone, so no trace there.
Looks a bit like a Citroen CX to me, not sure though.

Fiat 2300 S , what a strange rear window, looks like it comes in 3 parts?

I'm not sure I've ever seen one of those in the metal.

But as a kid I had a Corgi model of one in metallic blue - there was a Corgi dog on the rear parcel shelf!

B 19100 Austin A 30 , it has seen better days I guess...

5437AB33 Peugeot 302, and a few others around it

5437AB33 Peugeot 302

5437AB33 Peugeot 302, its a bit like a older Citroen 2cv-ish

5437AB33 Peugeot 302, almost comical front... now I say that, I believe this was also posted before... (in another set of the WA guy) hm, anyhow, strange car/model, I can not remember ever seen one, but that does not say that much hehe

Thanks. I was trying to work out what that was. It looked like a Camaro body shape but the rear lights are wrong.

Yep, could also be so, looks same-ish, first when I saw the picture I thought they had a trailer parked half in the bushes. hehe and then I enlarged the picture and spotted the rear of a car.

Toyota Carina TA12:

wow, respect, thats really good, I could not find a car looking like that although it has a very recognizable rear end with those lights and angle etc.

Nice GT as well smile

my parents had a Toyota Corolla I think at some point, yeah much later also some Toyota starlets and Aygo and sorts lol.

ah, here 2 of his Toyota's, well it was for my mom, my dad had mostly something more 'manly' but he used my moms cars the most for small trips, to the garden, shopping etc.

But that Toyota under on the right, I believe that a Corolla (at least I have marked it with that lol.

hah, cool thumbup

there is a 'funny' story, at some point in 1984 I was in the army in another country, and so I got payed more, so I could buy another Ford Escort RS2000 mk2 when I had 2 weeks vacation, I owned such before I went into the army, but than the payment was way less than I got with my normal work job, so had to buy a cheap car for all the travels, bought a Alfa Sud....

anyhow, in my vacation I bought another RS2000 again so have some fun, after the army I came across my first BMW 3 series a 320 e21, I had the money saved from my service in another country, so I could spend some on a BMW... that was cool back than hehe

My dad mean while had just bought a Seat 127 model, new! he did not really liked it and missed a BMW.

But I told him, dad, I'm gonna buy a BMW 320/4 and can collect it next week...

what did my dad do? he went to a garage who had a nice BMW 320/6 and bought one before I could collect mine, he said I can not handle that my son would have a BMW 320 before me hehe lol

His one looked better though, that was this one

I had to do it with this one

and ow, yes that is me in the picture on that home made with spare parts Mopedstep with 4 speed and some Puch/Tomos parts and more, just for fun, see if I could make some of moped parts in my shed.

That registration would point to 1980 or even 1979 I would think, not 1984? Nice to see it does not have the passenger mirror, still an option back then.
The garage seems awfully narrow for that BMW! I do not think it was used much as a garage for the car?

Like most garages nowadays, with the current cars being so wide. The garage being used as storage for bikes and the washing machine, garden stuff etc etc with no space left for a car. That said current cars are much better and can survive on the street, much unlike cars from the 50s 60s.

I took my drivers lessons in a new BMW 316. My only experience with anything BMW.

The grille badges were sometimes different, depending on model year.

My dad did not buy many cars new, maybe a handful, that BMW 320/6 was also secondhand, I guess he bought only 3 or 4 cars or so new from the many cars.

yes that garage was not wide, you could walk around the car though and it had a garage pit, handy for changing oil and ow, back than for tectylating the bottom...

But it was made for my dads length and that was already not much left, I am a bit longer so you had to were a cap or you get tectyl in your hair..

And ow, he used wisely some old carpet at the side wall, for when you open the door it would not scrape the lacquer of the car door... (I have that as well in my garage which is much wider, but at one side only.

I even once painted a Fiat X1/9 which was nice blue, in black... went great though for such small garage, windows open and a blower by the window to push the spray-mist out... well, as good-ish as it could... but all in all happy with that.

In the end of that garage (was not that short) there was a door to the next part which was used as a barn? for bikes and stuff.

So yes, it was used every day, even till the end for that house with my dads wide Maserati Shamal, so it could, but indeed at the side walkroom but not much.

Hah thumbup thanks, I will change that in my collection of old familie pictures, So its a Carina, I believe it was a 2 door and looked online I guess its indeed a Carina... hm, even back than I had a girlfriend her name was Carina (short lived long long time ago relation) and I was comparing sometimes, my parents had a Toyota Corolla and I have a girlfriend Carina, sponsored by Toyota hehe

but thinking about that, my parents had indeed also a Corolla long time ago, guess thats why my scrambled brain mix up thumbup
