Sorry I should have been clearer, I specifically meant the Japanese (or similar) small vans and pickups, modified with wide alloys and arch extensions etc. I know it's not a new thing as such, but I've seen more in the last 5 or so years than the preceding 25.

Some absolute scumbag keyed my car whilst I was in the gym. It was parked in a remote corner if the car park, too.

ai, I'm sorry for such loss, such people that doing that are 'sick' maybe someone who is jealous or has some sort of fight with you? not much you can do against such sickos, I guess they they are key(board) warriors... sabotage things when they think no one seeing them and knowing that it will hurt the owner, or just sickos... just to destroy

I had it once long time ago when going out, guess I was 18 or 19 hah, parked my Fiat X1/9 next to the Bar/Disco I went to parked next to on the street, but that street also was the pad were bar/disco people walked when they went home afterwards to the trainstation...

so all those people then walked past my car towards the station, which was also very close by, about 200 meters away, so one of those drunks? did it, just because it was a nice sporty car...

That was a learning moment., after that I always parked it further away were you normally not walk and that never happened again.

I also park that way that no other parking space is left at least at one side so that at least one side is safe from people opening their doors for kids wide open...

but then you seem to have parked it pretty safe in your mind, maybe the attention of such car was to much (magnet) for some sicko?
