Hmm, I seem to recall that the DB3S was a 3 litre. The car pictured is registered as a 3670cc and was 1st reg in 1984. Replica perhaps?Looks good mind.

The real DB3Ss had a 2992cc straight six engine. This isn't a real one.

I still wouldn't mind knowing what it is, i.e. kit based on donor, scratchbuilt etc. Looks like it has an Aston Martin badge on the front too.
On the other hand, it could be a genuine Aston Martin with a replacement engine (can't think offhand where a 3670cc engine would be from?)and date of 1st reg might be 1st Uk reg for a re imported car. All sorts of peculiar things like that with DVLA. Ah well, probably never know, shame 'cos I like the look of it.

My records show a listing of "Aston Martin DB3/5 3700cc"

AMOC Invitation Class Loton Park 2-7

Monterey Historics, 2009:

Not sure which one it can be from the chassis numbers, year is given as 1956/1959.

In my humble opinion , The Greatest Drivers Car Ever... No wonder Mcqueen kept his 1970 911S after filming Le Mans....

this eve....there I was dreaming of next summer when a Red J plate 911 T passes me going north through the Sewer (Dartford Tunnel ) .
It stood head and shoulders above a complete sea of mediocrity .....

I stumbled upon this in London today. Looked superb, and with no cars parked either side of it...it made a great photo opportunity!

This pretty little 124 Drophead in Ilkley...

This rather dashing British brute outside my local. It belongs to the landlord and I think it is a Blower Bentley...

Not a "Blower". The Birkin supercharged Bentleys have a huge blower in front of the radiator. It may be a 1930's Derby Bentley (Rolls Royce), dressed up to look like a 1920's Le Mans car.
