No, it's the RNHF Sea fury FB.11 TF956, which was lost in 1989 after take-off from Prestwick for an airshow after a hydraulic failure, and the pilot had to abandon the aircraft out to sea.
Was the wreck ever recovered from that?P5BNij said:
Looks like a Morris/BMC/Austin LD; a few survive, mostly things like caravanettes as they get easier lives than panel vans or ambulances where the bodywork was mostly GRP.Edited by hidetheelephants on Tuesday 19th September 20:05

1965. My Dad had just sold our Austin A40 for a brand spanking new Singer Chamois.
Once I got a driving licence, he decided he wanted a new Austin Maxi. He was going to sell the Chamois back to the local Rootes dealer, but when I heard the measly amount what they offered Dad, I jumped in and bought it off him.
It soon started to look different when I got hold of it! In fact, you look earlier in this thread and you'll see how different. If he'd known what I was going to do to his beloved Chamois, I don't think I would have got it.

Ah, the era of the duffel coat, and memories of when winters had proper snow Look at the size / aspect ratio of the tyres relative to the wheels. Nowadays, I think you'd only see those on big vans (assuming not already fitted with alloys).
