Excellent spotlight spotting. Superb picture of Brits abroad eh? Late 60's?I must confess that in my early years I was something of a spotlightaholic. Here with my MGB in around 71.
The near side light would be a fog light, sometimes with a yellow lens, a wide spread beam intended to assist in thos dense fogs we used to have. The off side light would be a pencil beam long range spot, usually aimed at the centre white line far ahead. For fast rod use!
Here in Pyrenees with the yellow beam adaptors fitted like your TR.
More SPOTLIGHT Spotting please, come on show us!

Used to stay on a caravan site there in the fifties - but with any luck it would have been a King hauling the Cornish Riviera in the background, rather than a Western!Edited by RichB on Wednesday 20th June 14:48
My great grandfather receiving an award from the DVLA in Dudley.
According to my mom, he was a chauffeur for the earl of Dudley and had an unblemished driving record.
How accurate this is I'm not sure, I didn't know such an award was ever given out by the DVLA, she says this photo was in the Express & Star news paper in the mid 50's to early 60's.
Anyone care to guess the car? I couldn't tell you, Morris?
