I know the Spitfire is heading west, I've driven along that road many times over the years, as well as over - it on the railway! I worked through there a couple of times last week under the newly installed signalling. Oxford is changing and becoming ever more busy, particularly around the station area, the land just to the south where the old gasworks once stood is being cleared for new buildings to go up and it's likely a new access road will be laid in.
