Thanks.... I think! Six years ago when I had my double garage built I made the mistake of having two single doors of seven foot width instead of a wider double door, I might just have to bite the bullet (or, ahem... 'Bullitt') and get them replaced. Definitely food for thought!

I really do fancy this Buick Riviera but it would be a very tight squeeze to get in and out of my garage, the access to which is also slightly awkward for anything bigger than a classic Mustang...

'63 Riviera's are best avoided, as while first year, the still used the old Dynaflow transmission.
The '64 Riviera is he one to go for, as outwardly, other than a few minor trim.emblem differences they are the same as the '63, BUT.......the '64 Riv's got the brand new GM Turbo Hydramatic torque convertor auto transmission, which makes them a much nicer car to drive, and much more efficient.
The Dynaflow soaked up a huge amount of power that didn't get to the wheels.

Can't see an image there - is it just me...?

I really ought to be outside enjoying the sunshine but being a pale lethargic sort today I just can't be arsed...

There's a rare RHD '67 for sale on ebay… https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1967-Pontiac-Parisienne...

Don't really know much about them but I like the look of that... way too large for my garage though.
Lovely to see that Pontiac, I sold them as new cars.

I posted the above photo on another forum, and another user there found this additional photo, confirming that the route did include bringing the fuselage underneath the Eastgate clock.

1960 is, imo, the best year for Cadillac. Like a 1959 but with the excess trimmed off and perfect proportions. I was at a classic car show at Duxford a while back and white Series 62 Coupe was moored up on the grass, couldn't take my eyes off it. Later on, it literally glided past towards the exit, a faint murmur of a 390 c.i V8.

Just stunning machines.

Nice smile

Saddle Tan with saddle tan interior combo, which is certainly not a common colour combo for a '63 thumbup

Used to see a white one round our way a few years ago, haven't seen it for a while but it used to take up four spaces in the middle of Sainsburys' car park. Not a minter by any means but it was a glorious thing to behold.

There's a '59 for sale in the latest issue of Classic American magazine - a fiver short of £60k...!

The UK version:

Crescent Road Yard, Luton, spent many an hour shunting stone trains in there in recent years. Not a Vauxhall in sight though!

Luton was especially adept at factory installing rust on its products............

It's an ill wind and all that.

Looking for - and failing to find - pics of DB4, 5 and 6 chassis frames outside the factory in Newport Pagnell gathering rust while awaiting bodies, I found this:
