Screen shape is wrong for a Jaguar. It looks more like a coachbuilt Bentley, possibly Mulliner bodied.

Good spot; google suggests a S1 or S2.

Not sure If you would class this as a classic, but still a sad sight!
M reg ! -these are rare on L reg ,so must be last one sold
It was one of the very last ones sold, unfortunatly it was in a collision and hit hard from behind which can not be seen in the picture, the car was unsalvagable and despite the negative comments here there a fantastic car.

The head-shaped dents in the screen suggest the occupants would not be fit for onward travel either! eek

Not exactly abandoned but not looked after! Sorry about the poor quality, scanned from the local paper.

Looks like the heads of the two front seat occupants and the house came off worse than the car.

Incredible photo of that Bentley. And yes, it looks very much like both occupants hit the screen.

Any more photos or info on it from the Newspaper ?

actually, squinting a bit more, it could be a rolls royce cloud, only the grill differed and its a bit mullered, but the mascot looks a bit big for a bentley

I had a 16v - mad fast , super comfy , all the toys to Jap spec and tonnes of room and boot space that would shame a modern car.Even the interior plastics were nowhere near as bad as people hysterically claim.
Went in a diesel with 150k - it was in showroom condition.

No more info, it was only a few weeks ago, each week they print a few old photos and ask if anyone knows anything about them. Brighton & Hove Leader, free every week!

We came across this beauty in car park in Verona in September.

Been going to Verona since 2003 and that car was in that car park then.

The last time I was in Verona was 2011 and I saw a coffin dodger getting in and out of it so it was still being cared for, but in all that time it was never in a different postion in the car park, and was parked in the outside, open but under cover 'shed'.

Remembering the age of the old fella and the fact that the car is now parked in a different place (is it inside now?), the owd 'un has probably passed on.

Is it a 308 Quattrovalvole?

The last time it was on here someone identified it as a 208. One for the home market.

the 308 is my favourite ferrari of all time. there was a 308 down near pontyberem (about 15 miles from me), it was in a bit of a state but the guy wanted waaaay too much for it...It's gone from there now...anyone know where it went?

308 and 208 were very very similar, almost identical to look at...smile

Only external difference is NACA intakes on the lower quarter ahead of the rear wheels.
