I love a thin band whitewall. Always have.

I had a V12 E which I sold a few years ago which still had the original Dunlops.
This it the very best a V12 E can look IMO

Is that a commemorative, vpr? Absolutely lovely!
Yes indeed.
I’m not a minor fan of the V12, I now have a series 1 but that particular V12 in black with hard top, chrome pressed wheels and whitewalls is the best looking S3 I’ve seen. Even if I do say so myself smile

Looks perfect.

Makes me want to awaken mine (which is far from perfect) from its winter slumber.

Lovely - white really suits the 928.

Mine is at the Shark Whisperer, being made better again....

thumbup I’ve got a list of stuff to do on mine, but it’s well enough to be used as a daily at the mo. Hope yours is better soon...

Took my TR6 out for a quick spin today, it’s imperative with the PI system you give it a run at least once a month.

Car looks very nice. Enjoy

To go back to the subject of white wall tyres, mine had them when I bought it at auction but I was never a fan.

Part of the restoration work was to get the tyres swapped so the white walls ended-up on the inside.

20 years ago I was thinking about buying a 348. A local garage had one for sale. I stopped after hours to look at it with my toddler son. I was peering through the window when I realised my son was looking in the window too. How could a toddler be that high up? He'd used the side strakes as a ladder to climb up. Eek!

Would love to see some pictures of the interior.

There are some fantastic cars in here, mine in comparison are not much at all but thought I would put them up.

This is my 1967 Cooper that I bought back in 2010 when they were still quite affordable. Its a bit of a Frankenstein with bits of all sorts on it. I bought it when I was younger and more foolish, hence the stupid wheels, however it went well for what it was. its been off the road for some time now and I have the urge to get it back on the road. I have a new engine sat waiting for it so hopefully this year I will get my finger out.

This is my second classic, if you'd class it as one, that I currently have on the road. It is a 1989 944 with the 2.7l engine on a manual box. Its very rough around the edges, with many areas requiring attention but I try to drive it at least once a week. I hope to use it as a rolling project, however the prices for some parts that I need make my eyes water a little bit! Luckily I have a second 944 in the garage, however it is an early model and much to my surprise, a lot of the parts are not interchangeable.

Yes, indeed. I do think the pressed wheels suit the S3 better than wires.

Recently bought this after searching for two or three years for the right one. It’s a credit to its former owner who restored it.
