Time for a little surgery...
Apparently the patient is responding well with no chronic symptoms though upon opening up it was clear many faculties were on the point of failure. Good news was a very healthy heart!
Report list is full top-end rebuild with new radiator, clutch and as many hoses, pipes and sensors as we can find. Bottom end untouched - bores look pristine, compression good all round, and the car was running smooth before the work.
Bad news is my wallet doesn’t have the capacity to get the AC fixed which means another sweaty summer...

Here's my 67 Mustang. I've owned it for 15 years but don't use it as much as I should.

And here is my recently purchased 1989 Orion 1.6i Ghia. Just reliving my youth!

how could you not lay your hands on it for 6 months (if you know what I mean) love that colourThis summer has been to France, Holland Belgium and Germany, so was covered in squashed flies!
Although mechanically she is all new, the body and body fittings are all original as she has never been in an accident or got rusty! She is opalescent silver grey that is very flat indeed.
She also went round the Nurburgring where she was dicing with some worryingly low value stuff (86' Nissan Micra anyone?). Recommended though.
My Dad and I recently imported this from Holland to share, it's an 86 3.2 Carrera, moss green, non sunroof model... Originally a German car, then imported into Holland in 94 and we got the UK reg through late last week, it's had a big service at our local specialist and i've been enjoying it ever since.
Needs a few bits sorting (Mainly the heating and aircon) but mostly it's excellent. I'm quite taken with it.
