R-R also suit thin band white walls.
Do you know where that picture was taken, and whilst I'm at it, where the Talbot Hotel picture is in your profile please?
I'm not stalking you, but I might have had a weird Twilight Zone moment! eek

The photo appears to be in Beverley, going by some of the shops in the background.

That's interesting and possibly makes sense.
I've been trying to identify where this was taken. It looks remarkably similar.
(That's my great great grandfather sat on the running board with my grandfather in the white romper suit. It was taken around 1920).

I was just about to post that Virgiliu had taken a lovely pic of your car over on Insta but I see you have it already! Thanks for bringing some sunshine to the greyest of Sundays!

Heres my version..

Similar but not the same. The detail over the door is different as is the stone lintel above the windows. Plus the door is in a different position relative to the end of the building. It could have been moved but given the other differences I would say it's not the same building.

Oh my, I can't tell you how much I want that, it looks just perfect. I lost out on a green one last year and am still in recovery. Ended up buying a more modern Alpina touring instead but I still pine for a W123

Yes, agreed. Very similar style though, so I'm wondering if it's in the same neck of the woods?
I have another photo which looks very similar to the one on Rob's profile page, which I think might be in Malton, North Yorkshire.

Pretty sure it’s Richmond Market Place...

Thanks, I agree although have struggled with them more than I thought. I have wanted a set for years but when I finally got round to it recently I was a disappointed how they looked when I put them on. This was 2 fold, firstly I think they are too fussy with the existing rat-look guise. Theres just too much going on. So that has spurred me on to get a respray! Secondly, they weren't filling the arches so I have changed the tyres up a size to 195/65 Vredestain Sportrac. Anyway, I'm much happier with the look now and once the body is a uniform colour they'll set it all off nicely, hopefully!

One of the very best regular classic car meets. Fantastic (and varied) cars, great people and plenty of dogs too.
And cake. Don't forget the cake. biggrin
Yes the cake is very good. Plus even more food coming soon, plus they've just opened the pub.

Thanks very much. Turns out it was Richmond rather than Beverley, but could this be the Talbot Hotel?
