Pretty sure it’s not The Talbot. The two main entrances are much more ornate than that.

There’s a fanlight above the door and the window above is offset, so I don’t reckon it is The Talbot (nb top geekery hehe)

That is ace, and the want is high! Come the lottery win, a yellow or red Elan Sprint DHC is first...

My current fleet. I'm just after a W213 in black or brown now!

Nice fleet. I'd like to see more of the green one closest to the camera.

I'll see if I can dig some out. It's a 280 TE, hard to find one of them which isn't a dog. The maroon one a few pages back looks beautiful too.

I would assume, at the price, they aren't the finest quality. When I bought my car it had ancient mix of strange name tyres so switching to these made a big reduction to road noise and gave better grip.

I wish I'd found those tyres before I bought a set of Uniroyals for my Coupe, I think those thin white wall tyres really suit the W123.

Good eye, yes it is. I slightly overpaid, reached my limit at the auction and the auctioneer got 1 more bid out of me.

I'm really happy with it, ticks all the boxes.

I love a thin band whitewall. Always have.

I had a V12 E which I sold a few years ago which still had the original Dunlops.
This it the very best a V12 E can look IMO

Is that a commemorative, vpr? Absolutely lovely!

So it's now official on PH - thin whitewalls are de rigueur on some classics
