If I had the sort of money they have I'd bring Frank Lloyd Wright back from the dead and get him to design it for me

Quite apart form reanimating the dead, you'd probably have at least as much trouble getting a FLW type design through planning as you would some neo georgian monstrosity.
yes indeed. I wonder what back handers would be needed and to whom?

To be fair its not that bad of a place, its not dissimilar to a lot of the things that spring up around here, just a bit bigger..

I see this as a bigger version of the obligatory octagon built 6 bed job(sorry Tonker if you live in one hehe), they are all starting to look the same.

The conservatory's on the back, surely? The driveway is on the other side of the property...

Because Macclesfield BC are a bunch of arse. The village where he lives is full of horrid new build mansions like this with all the original old property knocked down to build them. Shame its a beautiful village and ruined by all the development.
yes The demographic has changed in the area though. It wasnt that long ago that Prestbury refused to have street lighting and an Indian restraunt because it would ruin the village. The fight seems to have gone out of the locals and they have been slowly usurped by the nouveau riche.

I'm an interior designer working in Cheshire. By far the worst footballers house I've seen was in Prestbury, fake wooden beams 'n all...

The one trait they usually have in common are the giant Venture-esque photos of their kids in every room, nice.

How can one person be so thick. Literally no personality, he's just a body that moves around the place making squeaking noises.

I never understood why they all go for Prestbury anyhow...bloody boring if you ask me.

Why would you want live in the same town as someone on your team anyhow? Car pooling? Who wants the back seat of the Conti GT?
