Just got the rear windows tinted thought I'd throw up a pic.

Car is a Dame Edna HOT aero estate. I've had a 3" down pipe with 100 cell sports cat, K+N air filter, fuel pump and remap by Abbott racing so circa 300 brake.

Next on the list is brakes, as they aren't that great after spirited driving. Open to suggestions but currently looking at DS2500 pads, Brembo passivated grooved discs, goodridge braided lines and fluid.

Just try the pads first - might be all you need.

I found on my TVR that the DS2500 pads needed a little warming up - arriving at the first junction on cold brakes was, errr, amusing.
The only other downside of those excellent pads is the amount of dust they produce. I went to Hawk pads instead (sourced from Cambridge Motorsport on 't'internet.). Similar price, good fast road/track pad, less dust and no warm up required.

Hi, many thanks for the input, much appreciated. As you say, sorting out the suspension sounds the way to go and I'll see how it goes from there. With regards to the actual equipment, are you using lowered springs and Koni (yellow?) shocks?

Cheers.
I put Bilstein B8's on my 2.3 Aero with Eibach springs made a huge difference, give NEO Brothers a call they'll have them on the shelf

Anyone have a manual 9000 Aero for sale?
I found one smile

Aero in the Norwegian woods

Got this in May and have been breaking it in ever since. It had been restored beautifully by the previous but one owner, though had covered only 1,200 miles in the last four years. I had quite a lot of bits fettled to get it reliable and running well, and got back yesterday from a trip to Norway, taking my mileage since May to 7,000 (from 200,000 when I got it). It went beautifully to Norway, and managed the 1030km from the Hook of Holland to Hirtshals, at the far end of Denmark, in just under eight hours (including a single half an hour stop for lunch/petrol/lav). Comfy at a steady 110mph on the autobahn smile
