Hi, from a new Saab owner.

Here is a picture of mine.
Loving the socially distanced picnic table to the rear of the hood.

Here is my 9000 Aero 2.3T. 1997.
Purchased in Dec 2019 with 105,000 miles.

I put it through an intensive 3 month restoration. Every single Suspension component replaced, inc 23 bushes.
Its my daily driver now doing 800 miles per week with a weekly average of 40.5mpg. Not bad for a 308bhp car !.

I have a 7 page build thread here >

Nice, you need to de-dame the front. Makes such a difference to the look too. smile

Mine for example GT25 turbo, built engine etc. Mid 400's at the fly they think. No one expects it with a roof box.

I used to not like the Edna cars, but I've come to quite admire them now; yours is beautiful 18speed. I still think the original is best though.

I had a 2006 Dame Edna car - endless problems with it, ended up being scrapped when the gearbox gave up completely.
Much happier with my current 2002 (1999-2001 style, chrome grill, walnut dash etc) 2.3 LPT SE.

I hear the interiors on Dame Ednas are not as well built. My 9-5 was a very early 1998 9-5SE 2.3, bought at 3 years / 85k miles. It had been a dealer demo car originally and had loads of extras on. Early cars are often slated, but I had it for another 140k miles and had very few problems. I've only had 9000s since though.

Cheers and yours too! That's my favourite angle of the car straight down the front. Nothing else quite has the presence. Even more so in the snow.

My 2001 93 Convertible. Been in the family since nearly new, and had a lot done by the second owner (my uncle) at Abbott Racing taking it to circa 250bhp mark. Such a hoot to drive (even if it does suffer from torque steer) and gets plenty of attention!

Wish I hadn't seen this, I have a 9-3 in same colour, was going to do the brakes in red. But now not sure yellow might be an option.

My small car collection contains 2 classic Saabs.

The oldest is a 2 stroke 93b, original delivered in NL in 1957 in pristine/original condition.

The other one is a red non turbo 99 from 1969 also in mint condition that I have put up for sale on PH today.

My 3rd Saab, back to the fold after 7 years away...

1.9TID, 100k, 3 previous owners. 13 stamps in the book and cambelt changed 15k ago. Well specced with heated seats, electric memory seats, bluetooth, parking sensors and folding mirrors (which actually work!). I'm told the mirrors are a rare option?
