Has anyone seen this?

The UK series was quite fun, and quietly Twilight Zoney in nature, but the US series seems to have gone completely under the radar (though a BBC America production) and be a series-long story arc. Is it going to turn up in the UK? Is it any good?

I've just watched it over the last week or so. Now upset that series 2 doesn't exist yet!

It was very, very good IMO, quite weird in a Douglas Adam's kinda way, as it should be, but bears little relation to the books IIRC
Lots of very strong, very strange, characters and the most dangerous kitten ever smile

As with the Hitchhikers Guide series, his books just don't work as well when they're made into visual entertainment which is a shame as I'm a massive Douglas Adams fan and nothing I've seen is even close the wierdness of a DG/HGTTG book.

Are you saying you've seen the series, or is that a critique of DA adaptions in general?

H2G2 books? Pah!

Nothing beats the (radio) original.

I was utterly pissed off they killed the UK version. If they had given it time I think it would have been a classic.
