Hi,

I am thinking of getting an Audi S5 convertible as my next set of wheels.

One thing I would like to know is, given it has folding rear seats, is it possible to fit a bike inside of the boot?

I'm talking full size road bike or mountain bike - not a Brompton!

Has anybody achieved this?

Cheers,

Adrian.

Yes, Ive had my Specialized Crosstrail in my S5 cab. Need both rear seats folded, the front wheel off the bike and bars turned flat but it went in easily.

With the front wheels off, have managed to get 2 x adult mountain bikes in the back of mine.. 1 bike would be fine..

This is great - thank you both for your input.

Looks like the BMW 335i has finally been ruled out!! wink

Forgot to mention I have a coupe version, not sure whether boots are different in cab? They are a good size..

Slightly different, you have the roof box in the cab so its not as much room available for height although it does fold up if the roof is up. Also the opening when the seats are folded isn't quite as big as the coupe due to strengthening braces down the sides, length wise its just as big though.
