My bootspace has three defining features:

- It is often wet.
- It mostly smells of petrol.
- You cannot trust that old stick in a strong breeze.

Some pics of the boot on mine. Have also included some of the space behind the seats, and there's space for a bag behind the pax footrest.

Just for reference, golf clubs fit in the boot - it goes back quite a bit, and there's space behind the wheel arches. Need a pencil bag if you want everything to fit in the boot though. I've gone on holiday with all the clubs, couple of rucksacks, shoes etc, Woods sit behind the seats.

Hope that helps.

Sorry for reviving this thread but the ability to carry a set of golf clubs was an important consideration!!! And I am now reassured!

I am just in the early days of trying to justify having an Elise as a holiday car that I can leave at my parents and use on my regular weekend trips to get about whilst Mrs97 has the Touareg!!

I do need to get golf clubs and a trolley in, so I was assuming that the golf bag could sit in the passenger side footwell and the trolley could go in the boot.

The trolley does fold up fairly compact - http://www.gokart.co.uk/the-go-kart/gokart-tech/

Sounds feasible. Oh dear, this could be a slippery slope!

Go Kart isn't that small from what I remember. Get a Motocaddy M1 Pro. I haven't seen anything that folds up smaller. Mate used to put one in the front boot on a 997 911 - it was like they were designed especially for it smile

Thanks, but I already have the GoKart, and I reckon it folds up to an ok size.
