As per the title really. Need to 3D scan an S2 for a client who wants to make some amended panels to fit chassis of an S2.

Any help appreciated. A copy of the scan data for your own records will be given to use however you wish (inc commercially).

Hopefully PH will come up trumps again!

You know you cant have a complete body off without ungluing various bits (sills for starters) ?
Or is your client just interested in replacing the bolt on panels?
Ultimately ungluing areas, but for the feasibility study cannot ask for moon on a stick so unboltable panels removed would be fine. Thank you for response.

I have both front and rear S2 clams off my car and not likely to go back on... is your scanner portable?

If the clams are off, they do distort some. You'd have to mount the clams before you scanned them to get an accurate shape.

Once you scan the clams, would you be willing to share the scans?

I have no problem with sharing. The ultimate decision is with car owner though.

My car has been scanned with clams off previously. I should be seeing the guy who did it this week ao can ask him what data he has and whether he would make it available.
