Just reacting to the usual internet warrior stuff...my Evora 400 weighs 1320kgs (measured on regularly calibrated weigh bridge) with a 1/3rd of a tank of fuel and me in it...in about 72kgs...makes it something around 1220kgs with no fuel...pretty good I`d have thought and surprised me a little.

1400kgs with 2 people in it perhaps...thats 75kg people of course, which was completely normal a few years ago, but not so much now!

Buying from Edinburgh Lotus? If so, we were at the dealership just after you’d bought it and Ian was moving it to take some video footage. Looked great, and the exhaust note was incredible! Enjoy
Yes thats the one :-) Hope it looked great in real life! Cheers

Weigh bridges have a pretty high +/- tolerance though. I'd be chuffed if the Evora did weigh so little but somehow doubt that Lotus would get this wrong given it's the cars most damaging statistic...

Yes that looks spectacular...very tempting...

I am aware of weighbridge tolerances, but this one is used in the food industry and the measurements are used to raise invoices etc so it is within the commercial world as good as you will get...do accept that the reading could be as much as 20kgs out...but that`s it.

That's very interesting. It would be very reassuring if it was nearer a 1300 than 1400 kg car. Might see if I can find a local one here to take mine on.
