replacing my rear pads ahead of a trackday and need to source the windback tool - nose pliers aren't doing the job (could be seized... is that common?).
does anyone know where i can get one in a hurry?
thanks

Halfords do them and I would guess any decent motor factor.

Should just turn with long nose pliers so could seized

yes Halfords are probably easiest.

However I had a stuck caliper on the Octavia and got one of those - it bent when I tried to use it. Eventually I got it free with the combination of that tool, a vice to keep straightening it out, and a big hammer. smile

Open the bleed valve and it will be easier with the pliers.

Could well be seized. The piston on all my calipers (Exige) turned with a pair of long nose pliers - although they weren't much use afterwards as the jaws no long met at the end. Luckily my dad had an identical pair I could swap smile I bet they've been driving him mad not quite meeting at the end hehe
