My experience of 111R was I bought it with 20k which had been put on the car over 4 years. I drove it 16k in the first year and I got really unlucky....mine fell apart

Documted at the time over the 2 years I had it Murray's Edinburgh and I spent £5k...... It killed what was my dream car but it lived outside in Edinburgh and when not in the garage being repaired I took it everywhere (I'd go for drives across to Oban or up the coast to St Andrews - worked away and sometimes spent weekends in Edinburgh)

I'd love to get another and this time put it my garage (didn't have that luxury at the time) however they seem to of gotten more expensive for good cars (mine was bought for £17k)

I think if you can get one with service history from somewhere reputable or are handy with the spnaners you'll be fine

Certainly looks a nice colour. I’ve been actively searching for an S1 Elise, but decided to spend double and left a deposit on an s2 Exige 220. Looking forward to picking it up in the new year.

bought exact same spec and colour car in jan. 2018 from hangar 111 with 29000 miles for 24,000. they are cracking cars and the second cam is very addictive
