Thanks, I hadn't seen the white one with the blue interior, that looks stunning!

I borrowed that last Christmas for a few days. Bargain price right now and a very one-off example. I'm still half tempted myself.

Good afternoon gentlemen, in 2 days my new Exige 430 cup arrives, I'm looking forward to seeing it!
I want to put harnesses on it and I know that the people of "seriuslotus" sell some very easy to put on, but they tell me that because of the carbon seats it has a certain problem, and I don't know if there is any other easy-to-install model.
sure you know and you can help me.
greetings to all.

The bar I've fitted is a seriously lotus bar and I'm told it fits fine with the carbon seats (same seats in 410 as 430). Hopefully my harnesses will arrive soon and I'll be able to test the theory out.

Exactly They says this:

"Hello
The bar will fit the car but you can only use the drivers side harnesses. Due tochanges in the carbon seat hole spacing the passenger seat harness gets twisted as it passes through the seat
Hope this helps
Regards"

Let me know

I don't understand the note they've made as there are other owners using it without issue. I'll measure the holes and get back to you.

Second image is the passenger side. I've only placed the seats in there for the purposes of this post, but it does appear that the hoop on the bar does make this hole a bit more obstructed than the drivers side. I think there's still enough room for the Schroth 3" straps but we'll only know when we fit them.

I asked Dave of Seriously Lotus directly if there was any issues and he said no. If there is an issue when it comes to fitting the harnesses then I'll certainly put it to him.

This 410 uses the same harness bar and harnesses as I am fitting...... just in black.

All UK Exige Cup 430’s come with harnesses as part of the purchase price, although the supplying dealer needs to order them in and fit them for free if A frame is optioned

Of the UK 430s I've seen, most don't have them fitted...... and of those with harnesses many use Seriously Lotus bars. Might be worth you asking in the Facebook V6 Exige owners group.

Just out of curiosity, why does this only affect the passenger side? Is the hoop offset to one side?

I would have assumed that everything is symmetrical and both sides would be affected the same.

The seats are not positioned in the same place each side due to the non-central position of the tunnel / handbrake. The tunnel sits more toward the passenger side by an inch or so which pushes the passenger seat almost up against the sill.

Ah, that’s makes sense then. Thank you. I assume my S2 Elise was the same, but I’d never noticed. Not the sort of thing you necessarily pay attention to unless you were doing something that involved something taking the seats out.

Very nice. Is that an "edition" car? Definitely need more pics of it.

Still no harnesses, so I fitted a Lotus sunstrip.

I'm told the harnesses are due this week
