Just ordered via Silverstone - test drove the 350 ( great fun but didn't feel too scary ) then man maths dictated that I would want to spec that up to within not that much more to a 410 - I have both carbon and alcantara fetishes ! Manged to get the already built stock list from Lotus and went for Riviera Blue with yellow calipers and yellow interior pack plus most other options.Had just sold my Porsche 997 GT3 ( owned from new also in Riviera ) so the Lotus 410 seemed a great replacement idea in every way.Car is for weekend fun and will sit alongside an Aston GT8 - nice contrast.

Am aiming to pick up 01 Sept so any advice as to whether I need to have PPF or just rely on the Ceramic coating ( Gtechniq Platinum ) both offered by Silverstone would be most welcome/ appreciated.I've never had PPF on any car previously ( other than the exposed sills on the GT8 ) but realise the Exige is somewhat nearer the ground.

I didn't PPF my 360 Cup from new. 1000 miles and multiple stone chips later I got it done. My incoming new 430 Cup will go straight by covered trailer from dealer to PPF.

OP, if you wanted a track toy, for ten grand more you could have had a Mégane Trophy R laugh

Congratulations, I didn't even know that colour was an option. Stunning!!!!

I too test drove the 350 and like you wanted to spec the alcantara and carbon bits. The 410 really does appear to be a very complete package. Get it straight in for PPF when it arrives. That car is too nice not to

Picked up from Silverstone earlier - Robert Beke has been great to deal with.
Feels pretty solidly built and exhaust in open mode very addictive. Carbon seats very supportive and comfortable. Just need practice on getting in and out easily !

Tracked one of these a few times at Hethel as part of the Lotus License. Very capable machine and excellent fun (and a great noise at full chat!).

I have the grossly underpowered 380, got my front end and sides ppf'd and think it was beneficial.

I also had a clearplex windscreen film fitted as I think they have to remove the dash to get a new windscreen in? I know some people
don't like them, but I've no complaints.

Sorry Paul ( and thanks for the pm ) but I sold it some time ago ( I probably had it for 2 years ) I never really gelled with it and had a few immediate issues with it ( all sorted fairly easily under warranty ) but it sadly just really didn’t live up to my expectations.
Glad I tried the ownership experience though.

That's a shame.. and that I'm c 2years late wink
They aren't the best on road trips etc .. and half me does think a 6mth old Emira is similar money...
But think I'm doubling down going from my 350 into a 410

Son is selling this one.
He’s been threatening to sell it for around 12 months now but keeps changing his mind.
Time has finally come where he is now 100% certain its being sold.

Thanks Tony
Was set on a blue like cyan , Riviera, Miami, lotus blue or the 20th Anniversary...
But that does look good, similar to my old Daytona purple M3 in those pictures. May have to see it in person

Great to uncover so many great colours, it looks like they painted a 410 in every colour on the chart smile

The 410 was definitely more fun to drive than the 350 I test drove and as I said previously the supercharger whine was a good replacement for any radio.
Given the way that the Emira sales and cancellations appear to be happening ,at this rate one may even be newer than 6 months old for the same money.
But I see that as just a different market altogether for someone looking at an Exige.

Wasn’t the Emira an Evora replacement?
An Exige is same power but lighter than the Emira, surely a better car in all respects except maybe for getting out of biglaugh

Very different cars if my experience of Evora 400 / Exige 410 is anything to go by.
