We've never met but I was touched by your post (my Dad recently had prostate cancer) and thought it best to write a short message.

Spend the time with those that you love doing the things that make you all happy - memories last a lifetime, long after we're all gone. Enjoy each and every moment, you've earnt it.

All the best.

First time I've seen your screen name but my thoughts are with you and your family. I hope I'm as stoical as yourself when my time comes.

Posted on SELOC too, but only fair I post here too, the old codger deserves it

For those who have never met DST, you have missed a true one of a kind. His attitude to the latest news, pretty much sums up his entire life, I have nothing but respect for the man. A number of people will disagree with me, but those are usually the massively PC people of this world, who cannot tolerate someone disagreeing with them and is passionate about it.

If you eve need a good laugh, look up some of DSTs previous posts, most are down right hilarious, usually in some vulgar way, but take it in the manner intended and you'll cope biggrin

The hope is, we all get to meet up one last time, assuming the timeframe he has been given is accurate. For all those from the historical BoLOCs runs, please keep a look out for an event and attend if at all possible

Only met you a handful of times Kev but you are one of a kind (and in the best of ways). The stories I heard from Dave (DaveyS2) of your Seloc trip to Amsterdam were probably some of the funniest I have ever heard too, just a shame i wasn't there to witness it first hand.

Enjoy the time you have left like I know you will.

All the best to those involved. These kinds of posts hit home hard and bring in to focus my own short comings.

I will be leaving work earlier tonight, thinking of you and yours (even tho i have never met you). I will give my kids an extra tight hug tonight and raise a glass to you later on.

I hope the doctors have got this wrong! I can't begin to imagine how you're dealing with this.

Make the most of the time you have with those you love and I hope you don't suffer.

Legend!!!!!
Found my way here via another post, glad I did as that made me chuckle as Amsterdam always reminds me of this, I hope it makes you chuckle.

We stopped off there as it was 1 of the legs on the Roger Waters tour we were working on and we had a free night to go out on the razzle. So once we'd loaded the trucks in at the gig me and my northern monkey mate hit the town. Many drinks, bits and bobs and hours later it was time to stagger back to the trucks, but my mate still had some Colombian stuff he'd bought off a hooker that he wanted to finish.

He decided to get it out in a quiet side street, (it was about 4am) and started chopping up the concrete shelf of a frosted window at ground level. I was more sober than said mate and told him to hurry the fk up as I was getting a tad nervous as the booze was wearing off. Just as he finished I heard a motorbike start up very near by and said to him, "Come on bugle, lets bugger off!"
The motorbike noise increased and as we approached the end of the street to turn right, a motorbike came from the direction we were heading. A police motorbike eekeeklaughlaugh

The copper nodded their head as they went past, as we stood staring/smiling like a pair of loons. We then turned the corner to realise my mate had just racked up on 1 of the window shelfs of the local police station biggrin

Not big, not clever, but I'd like to think you will get it hehe
