Picked up a few weeks back.
Just had it given a 2 year ceramic coating ready for getting it out on the road.
First foray into Lotus and I’m a happy chappy.

How're you getting on with this motor, OP? I think that this was the one for sale in Edinburgh?

It’s actually up for sale to make way for something else -

It’s a great car, just not getting the use it deserves.
Spent a bit to get it ready for sale so buyer will have stress free motoring out of it.

Ive a real soft spot for these, I think they are a bit of an unloved gem in the rocks from the Lotus range.

I had a great 250 mile run in one when they were new, and apart from the raer end strakes, I really like the looks.

Easy to get 300hp reliably as well.

Your ad prompted me to ask... and dream. It's a shame for me that you're so far North West as I head to Glasgow occasionally, as I shall be doing this half term (maintaining a bubble with a single adult household).

How is the experience of driving and ownership?

It really is a great car to drive, being my first Lotus I’m impressed (I’m used to focussed FWD cars). With the Nitrons fitted (which came with the car) and having the brakes upgraded it really is now driving perfectly.
It garners a reasonable amount of attention - people know Elise’s and Exige’s (to a lesser extent) but not many know about the Europa.
I’m just not using it - thinking of going back to just the one car instead of two.
Are you interested in getting one? I’m the right side of Aberdeen (south), so only a couple of hours from Glasgow....

Well if you have any questions drop me a message - my number is on the PistonHeads advert.
If you wanted to gather an independent opinion on it, give Craig Moncrieff a call.
I’ve had it in to him for the last service in February, and the MOT in August (plus wheel refurb, Nitrons fitting and brake overhaul) and he said he’d be happy to give an appraisal of the car to any prospective buyer.
