Exige Final Editions - Sport 390 / Sport 420 / Cup 430
Discussion
Ha! Gotcha. My bad.
There's a lot of this chat on the forums. One guy forever goes on about overpriced and big discounts on a specific model yet never buys himself.
If you need an Evora then the 400 or 410 are perfect. The 400 was always more than 400bhp despite the official figures. The 410 is just an all round work of brilliance.

Just an example of depreciation on a 410.
Autumn gold Exige built 2019 sits at a dealer for over a year. Gets pre registered as a 20 plate and goes up for sale at 80K. It finally gets bought late last year for 77K. New owner decides he doesn’t like it so puts it on Autotrader for 62K a couple of months later. Non Lotus dealer snaps it up and puts it on sale for 68K.
Maybe an extreme example but someone has lost a chunk of money.
For what it’s worth I think they are great cars and I wouldn’t give a toss about what I may or may not lose if I had spec’d it myself from new.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the TFT display in the anniversary cars isn't the same as the MX2E? Same chassis / body but not the same system?
That might explain why it was an original (pre launch price list) £400 cost and not the £1200+ you pay normally. It's no charge now obviously.

Has anyone who has ordered a Sport 390 negotiated a discount?
Maybe focus on the 420/430. 390 are all gone now. lotusgeek said:

I ordered one before they were announced, zero discount. It seems that all Lotus dealers are going to be struggling for stock this year though so I doubt they will have much issue shifting the stock they get in at full price. I believe the 390s are mostly all gone, which is understandable given the power boost over the 350 for basically the same money. Can't wait till it arrives. So excited!

I wouldn’t count on it. The Type 25/49/79 were 10 each (that’s very limited) but you know Lotus: Everyone gets a plaque that says 1/10, while Lotus might very well build more than 10...
I hope they will soon announce it.
There is only 1 each in RHD of the Type 49 & 79. and two Type 25's (though 25 globally they are numbered). The Type 79 just sold at the Octane Collection and I have the Type 49I hope they will soon announce it.

Is that the best they can do for choosing the colours!!
Are you buying one? They'll have no issue selling them, I guarantee it.
I’m sure they will sell them and if those are the popular colours so be it. I just think it’s a stunning lack of imagination to spec two cars grey and silver.
