I am considering changing over from Cup2’s to Pirelli Trofeo R’s but it appears you can not obtain them in OEM sizes as below :

285/30/ZR18 97Y XL Cup 2’s

215/45/ZR17 91Y XL Cup 2’s

7.5J x 17 ET26

10J x 18 ET32

The equivalents are 225 fronts and 295 rears. Clearly a size up but not necessarily any wider to foul the arches as Michelin’s do appear to come up larger against Pirelli on other sizes

So if anyone has any experience would be good to know

Would you consider going 'down' in widths, i.e the OEM sizes back with Trofeos were standard on Race Pck equipped V6s and V6 Cup? 215 front and 265 rears. You won't be struggling for traction on 265s

Actually prefer to keep the OEM sizes really Arun,

On another forum someone confirmed that you can get the Trofeos in the OEM sizes on the continent but it’s proving more difficult in the UK

I have raced with my Exige 410 with Trofeo 225/45/17 and 295/30/18 without problems.

Did you get any rubbing at all, particularly on the front under hard lock

Also where were you able to buy them in the UK ?
