I am mixed emotion about the black roof, I do love it….just not 100% sure.

Blue is my choice of colour, but my wife says I will look ridiculous getting into it with my usual all blue attire….will see

Pfft. No-one looks ridiculous getting into or out of a Lotus

Which shade though; navy blue because you are a postman, or all-over International Klein Blue, as you are in the Blue Man Group?

Very true.

Blue man group (funny she said I should join them)

I CANT wait to take delivery….never bought a new car before (on principle due to depreciation), but the second I saw it I knew I had to have one. Kidney on eBay as a type

Torn between 2 config options:

Blue with full Black Pack
Tan Leather
Diamond Cut Wheels
Yellow Calipers

or

Met Green - poss just lower Black pack
Tan Leather
Diamond Cut Wheels
Yellow Calipers

AMG 2 ltr c/w flappy paddle gearbox and Touring suspension on both options

Heart says BLue as no point having a weekend toy in a sublte shade, but on teh Configurator the Green does look lovely.

Would really like to see both in teh flesh before ordering, which should be doable if I'm going for the 4 pot, so not 1st Ed V6 manual.

Would take a 1st Edition with the AMG engine though if they are def releasing those..

Torn between

1) Blue, black roof & wheels, yellow calipers, black leather

2) Yellow, black roof & wheels, yellow calipers, black leather

3) Green, silver wheels, yellow calipers and red leather for the classic Lotus look.

Black suede / yellow stitch interior
Yellow calipers

If the green in flesh is too dark then I will switch to blue leaving the rest of spec same.

Need to see that green though - if no good then the red looks interesting...

hard choice... the green I looked at the most...
no idea how all those other colors look in the real world, but green is pretty 'save' I guess.
Tan leather and lots 'alcantara' look covering.
Although a V6 sounds better then a i4 on paper, I thing in this case I would go for that AMG i4, seems to be a good combo for such car, although so I guess, no idea in the real world :-)

huh, just went to the configurator and I can't choose those other wheels anymore?

also this was on, a base version in 2023?

and I could not choose the better looking wheels, not in the configurator anymore?

Yes Lotus have pulled the other wheels, the reasoning for this is because the demand for the car in the UK alone is way beyond expectations, around 3500 deposits taken, which is way beyond what Lotus projected.

As such to help streamline the build process and ease of ordering, plus due to shortages some options have been removed, so now the only wheel option is the forged V-Spoke design which can be had in black, silver or diamond cut. Once Lotus have all the order specifications finalised on 5th November and the further £3000 taken they can then order the V-Spec forged wheels in the appropriate colours for the FE V6 cars.

In two minds about the wheels, like the diamond cut but would be terrified of curbing them. May just go with the black wheels as they are also pretty nice.

So, had the call today and received the link earlier...

Thinking manual, touring, Verdant with silver wheels (probably then get them coloured after delivery, one of the lighter golds/bronzes); black calipers, black alcantara with yellow stitching, alcantara wheel - no black pack and clear glass; homelink and tracker....

Couldn't make the dealer event so flying blind a bit....

I'm red with no black pack
Yellow calipers
Alcantara with yellow stitching.
Not sure about wheels. I normally prefer black, but the silver looks good
