Has anyone fitted a Cat replacement pipe and did you notice the difference. My car has a sports exhaust but it still doesn’t sound loud. I'm thinking of buying the Lotus version and hence to keep warrantee valid.

I had it replaced at the same time as lotus exhaust sounds fantastic and nice throttle response. Mind you I also put a K&N 57i kit on and this helps, people can hear you coming now

Thanks all Pipe is now on order and so is a K&N induction kit. Any ideas on how much power I should now have. A guess 125bhp ?

K series is prone to being under rated for power... the output can vary car to car... when i only had cat replacement and sports exhaust i had the car rolling roaded for figures Got 125 BHP at 5750ish Everything being equally...you could see 125-130 must recommend next mod.....change ECU... Emarld or Lumention both do direct swaps... not the cheapest mod but could be worth 10bhp.... with a rolling set up...

Have you changed the ECU then. If so how much (cost & power) and who did you get it from. Who's rolling road did you use and was it worth it? Thanks Duncan

Ecu is next Mod...... Lumention 650+ vat Emerald 500+ vat fit yourself....uplug one plug in the other... if your gona fit the Emerald use their rollers I,ve used Motovation in Dorking in the past for Power runs only, but they have fitted Lumention on other applications 10 BHP is not unheard off.....on a standard car...
