I have recently aquired an S2 Elise Sport 190 which I intend to use for track days (I have joined Lotus on track) and would be interested in road tours/trips in UK and Europe with other owners. Could anyone advise me on the best Lotus owners club to join please? I live in North London. Thanks

  • SELOC is probably the most active in your area and, tbh, probably the "right" choice for Elise/Exige owners with your interests.
  • Club Lotus is a little dominated by the classics (well antyhing pre-Elise really) these days but does run a couple of big (ish) shows and spares events each year.
  • Lotus Club International is the factory club - mostly a marketing tool as far as I can make out, but there are discounts on events around the factory for members.
  • Lotus Drivers' Club - not sure.
  • Lotus Forums - is grpwing out of the Lotus Esprit Forum and trying to become something for most models, I think -though not everyone is happy about the way they're doing it.

I vote for the Lotus Drivers Club. Lots of National meetings to attend, regional meetings and a club for all Lotus enthusiasts. It is run by true enthusiasts who pride themselves not just on their online activity but also a brilliant club magazine and active meetings, tours and events.

Same question, but what about today?

Which club to join?

Toying with swappin out my TVR Griffith for a V6 Exige or Evora S early next year.

I'm Essex based, want to see what the clubs are like and get access to cars for sale through the club etc.

I vote Lotus Drivers Club if wanting to do trackdays and overseas touring. Great bunch.

I'm also a member of The Lotus Forums which is a pretty good club too. Bibs has good contacts with Lotus and actually helped arrange the 70th Anniversary bash a couple of weeks ago.

Seloc I'm not so sure, I've tried posting some things there but seems a bit clique. I just read it now.

As above, I find SELOC rather unwelcoming now, I hardly post on there now and won’t renew my subscription next year. Lotus Drivers Club is where it’s at!
