They certainly are flamethrowers !!
I have ACT decat pipes, standard middle section, CliveF back box, standard end cans. Much Much nicer style of noise, louder, and flames. It's addictive. I think Don's takes it up a level.
The noise eyeballs out past the pit wall at Cadwell is just amazing
How do you get on Cadwell with noise levels as they are? I have ACT decat pipes, standard middle section, CliveF back box, standard end cans. Much Much nicer style of noise, louder, and flames. It's addictive. I think Don's takes it up a level.

Great figures and hats off for being transparent about cost's so people can make an informed decision! This was one of the things i found difficult to ascertain when i was researching the costs for the LS Griff project.
As a comparison i also ended up spending around 15k on my engine and gearbox for not dissimilar figures [480]
I'm only seeing around 360 from the 4L and thats with airbox and a few other goodies so good to know the big figures are achievable as i would always want to keep the sp6 in the 350
I'm at Snetterton for the challenge this weekend are you going? As would be good to have a listen!!

This keeps getting better and better....
Filled up with V-Power yesterday, after 145 miles. £41 was the bill. 149.9 was the pump price, so in went 27 litres (all these figures are roughly rounded up or down and I know maths isn't my strong suit).
27 litres is 5.9 gallons. This is 24.5 mpg, with trips to the shops, rush-hour motorway traffic, a few blasts and just general driving.
That's insane! Happy, happy, happy.

My 3.6 averages 18mpg around town (slightly heavy right foot admittedly), and an absolute max of 27 on a long motorway journey.
OK, its not great pouring all the money away, but what really drives me crazy is stopping every 180 miles!
What is the most you can squeeze in? I've never managed more than 45 litres and that was after running on a tank that was officially empty for about 20 miles.
