FFS, how do you lot get it so shiny? I use Autosol polish, and just don't seem to be able to get it all off?

Most have taken the parts off or had a garage do it for them and machine polished it. Autosol won't cut the mustard to get a mirror finish. Particularly the fuel rail etc, that's really a machine job.

Yeah, lots of elbow grease...it's really time consuming to rub down the cast parts. The polishing itself is the least work.

I do not care as much as you guys how it looks under the bonnet, but I think this is some improvement.

Clive that plastic washer bottle sticks out like a hard on in a wetsuit! I am surprised you have not made your own or purchased one of the ally ones that were made up for the Sag.

Gutted I couldn't make the event - I bet it was awesome what with the weather too.... I haven't even got my Sag at the moment, so I'm doubly gutted missing out on some seriously good driving days !!!!

Catch you with you all soon through the season at other events and race meets etc.

Hope you and Sue are well Clive.

No way near finished but well on its way. Next phase will be silicon hoses, polished ally bottles and blow the inner wings back in satin black.
While it was apart I rebuilt the throttle bodies using sealed bearings and had them soda blasted for that 'as new' look.
This is getting addictive!

Ka Ching awesome Daz, what lump did you put in 4.3? That's going in the Cerb next year for Le Mans I think. Just having the lads at a Central do some more interior trimming, front end respray and 'repack' centre tunnel.

What had you done to the bracks again, from memory they are 4bolt cals with 300x30 disc correct?
