I need help on a cable/ adapter etc. to either to an old Samsung S6 Micro USB or my current USB C phone
...I already have the three pin plug and then the stand alone screen and D sub leads, but now with a Pioneer phone holding stereo I would like to be able to mount a phone there as and when I need to. A@

Impressed to find this. I’ve always wondered is there away of adding additional sensors and warnings- eg ‘BONNET OPEN’

In the last free days I wrote a new Diagnostic Software for our SpeedSix engines with the MBE ECU. The Application shows all values and sensor states at a glance:

It is possible to clear the fault log, reset the throttle and the adaptive maps. Further there's the possibility to record a logfile with all values which can be opened from Excel or any other spredsheet application:

I hope, the application is self-explaining. The Log-Files will be recorded in the program directory.

Here's the Download-Link for MBETool:

Version 0.97 from 13.January 2019:
www.wiechens.de/mbetool/mbetool.zip

0.90 : First official release
0.91 : Possibility to select Comport by manual Entry
0.92 : Changed Comport Selection, works now without admin-rights
0.93 : Detection of loss of connection (for example after switching off ignition)
Re-Dection of connection (for example after switching on the ignition while program is running)
Adjustable Window Size with Font-Resizing of the Data-Display
0.94 : Detection of AJP V8, changes for different settings, hope it works :-)
Change in communication with ECU to avoid erratic readings while ECU is busy
0.95 : Automatic discovery of local country settings regarding the creation of CSV Files
Found a way to reset the Log History in the ECU (The values you can read with the Original
Software unter 'Interrogate Logs')
Possibility to select the output folder for the Logfiles
Simple Graphic Scope with the possibility to disable certain values and set the speed of the Logging
Program remembers the Window Position, Size and Maximized-State
Shortcut-Keys are now available:
F1 -> Help/Info
F2 -> Enable/Disable Logfile
F3 -> Enable/Disable Scope-Window
F5 -> Reset Fault Codes
F6 -> Reset Throttle
0.96 : Better Exception-Handling when COM-Port gets lost (for example while dropping a Bluetooth Connection, unplugging USB-Adapter)
Different Layout of CSV File for compatibility with my TVRTool and the MBEAnalyze Program
Change the timing for access to the ECU, Logging is now 4 rows/second
Double Click on 'Throttle'-Text switches between Throttle % and Throttle Map Site Index
Scope with more intervals, zoom function. Click on the Scope stops it
Different arrangement of lines in scope function, most graphs are now in their own grid
0.97 : Detection of very old 928 ECUs

Please give me a response, positive or negative ;-)

Sincere apologies but I’m still in short trousers when it comes to the diagnostics for a T350 so where is the best software to download, and is there a retards guide to how to connect to a computer or obtain the plugs?

Really sorry about the question but I’m at the starting line and most on here seem to be back in the bar chatting up birds.

Sadly not the best guide, I cannot fathom it. I am running the stand alone MBEtool (which is throwing faults codes that are then not on the car as faults) and would rather be using an old phone in the pioneer SPH-10T holder (so that I do not have a loose item on the dash. A@

Ahh, I mistook rs-ajp for the mbetool - rs-ajp is a great android app.

I cannot get from the app (on several different phones) to a usable item, everthing is spread across two pages and then the shared stuff requires passwords. A@

If you're talking about the layouts, you can just add and resize items to your requirements?

For RS-AJP. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1KaIthbGEetCIvauN9...

You'll need to move it into your rs-ajp folder.

Thanks, I would if I could, I can reset and add/move but not resize, I will drop it onto my boys 65" touch screen monitor table later to see if it is just how petite it all is on my phone and my fingers that are too big (I have it on a Samsung S4 S6 and my pixel 6 so fingers crossed). A@

If you are very careful, the resizing is the blue bottom right bit when you're moving the icon. You have to lightly touch just the blue circle, and diagonally move your finger to resize. I agree it's sensitive on a small screen, a touchscreen pen would help smile

It's handy having a 17 year old..he has such a pen... (it is these nuggets that should be on the page info...I had no idea what the blue circle did). It is up on his table now ...and I will produce a screen to save. A@

Capacitive stylus pen found in boys bedroom too!

You’re now discussing the final scores - I can’t even find what game it is!

What program and what leads anyone?

Aha thanks I see. Looks like it can’t be linked up to a laptop then, I use an iPhone.

I thought the original version was laptop based?
