I have a small water leak on the housing that comes from the engine to a pipe then on to the oil cooler. Does anybody know if this housing requires a gasket/ seal or just sealant.
Could also do with some advice on coolant to use

Think I made a gasket and used sealant.
If it's the thermostat housing, mine had gone porous and needed replacing...seriously!

Pretty certain I used the OAT pink coolant when I did mine a few years ago. Although if you flush the system through then regular blue coolant will do - happy to be corrected.

As for the pipe leak is that the pipe that has a T in it from the heater box? If so, I just used a liquid gasket maker when I swapped out to a stainless pipe.
