Speed 6 oil filter change

Hi All,

Just a quickie..... I have just changed the oil and filter (T350 2003). Filter is leaking slightly but not sure why. New one ready to go on but can I remove the filter without losing oil? Looking at the height and angle it looks like I wouldn’t. Not bothered if I have to change it all again but would rather not.

Did you put a light smear of oil on the sealing ring face before screwing it on?

Yep, all the normal stuff. Third one I’ve fitted in the last 2 months (engine running in and new oil pipes all round).

Sorry to bump thread but can anyone give me some solice before I go and undo filter?

The oil level sits below the filter so you wont loose more than is in the filter Still makes a mess though, plenty of rags stuffed underneath helps
