Help - Speed Six Engine Issues

You'll hear it with your ear close to the gap near the back edge of the bonnet...kind of an angry spitting noise...similar to the noise my wife makes when I announce "just going to the garage, wont be long"

Where are you in France ???? I'm about 25-mins drive from Bergerac and I currently have access to the diagnostics for a couple of days more so I could potentially meet you if you are quite close to me.

How long since your valve shims were checked? I had similar issues when an exhaust gap closed up so the valve wasn't sealing once hot.
