Guys, I‘ve bought this OilWater heat exchange unit, which I was told came from a Cerbera ( & also used on some speed six cars )

Do any of you have one fitted ?

If so how‘s it plumbed in ?

I‘m thinking the water will come from the cool side of the radiator (ie outlet). & the oil comes from the pump, via a Remote Filter, then through the exchanger & back into the block.

Any thoughts ? Pictures of the real setup ?

On the water side I can confirm it comes from the bottom of the radiator, through the water-cooled oil cooler to the bottom of the engine (I know as I have just changed a hose). I can't remember, but your description of the oil pipes sound logical.

If you google "TVR Sagaris engine" and look on images you will see the water-cooled oil cooler at the front nearside of the engine bay.

You're correct... It should be mounted on rubber bushes to allow some flexibility.... If you take it apart you will find it's very simple.. a series of copper pipes inside for the water to flow and the oil circulates around them. I replaced the oil pipe connectors stainless ones and polished up the aluminium housing, then it looks quite good . I used to keep a shinny spare and swop them at service time smile .
