What makes you say that Dom? I know nothing of Supercharger technology.

Don't know what you'll get from it, but from the outside having watched you drive/manoever it those couple of times it appears to be delivering a shed load. I guess it just depends how big a shed biggrin

Looks like Rotrex's biggest unit (the C38) flows enough for up to 630 bhp......

See here...
http://www.rotrex.com/Home/Technology/Product_Tech...

Looking at the rotrex units, I didn't realise that they have to have their own dedicated oil circuit and cooler. That'll be the extra radiator that's been put in. I wonder why they can't use the engine's own oil and cooler system?

Dave,

extra radiator already in is indeed for
the dedicated "charger cooler"... (the chargecooler is being made/fitted in the next two/three weeks

why dedicated? It's a different
type if oil (sc runs very high rpm
compared to normal engine oil)

Work, that necessary evil that allows us to pay for these cars. Had seen the car there some time ago, would be good to see it now though.

Pascal, is the FFF engine you have in a 4 litre version or of a bigger displacement? and bhp quoted at the flywheel presumably? Supercharger a one off special or from stock?

A very interesting project, looking forward to the first public airing yesthumbup

Still a 4 liter.

For now it is a one off, but everything that is in my engine, should be available for other people buying the FFF (I've just ticked all options boxes)

I think Pascal is a bit busy with work at the moment. I believe he is out of the country (ours and his) on a major project.

Sadly. I want to see the figures too.

looking at the air box and the size of Rotrex charger for sure the pressurised air box will 100% split, run a two piece billet air box that will take at least 20 lbs boost if they want to get anywhere near 650 BHP, plus they will need to use injectors that flow 1000 cc

Sorry for all to "keep you in the dark"...

I've been away for work the past weeks, and I just got back from Toulouse... Didn't have any time to be busy with the car, sorry for that...

When we ran a supercharged 6 (admittedly for a very short period of time) we weren't looking at anything like 20lbs boost for 600bhp. Assuming the RG engine is anything like stock compression (which is already high) you shouldn't need 20lbs boost. My very low compression cossy 24V was only built to take 20 ish psi. I guess the bottom line is without knowing the CR one can only guess at boost?
