is that painted , dipped or what, I love that finish.

Glad you like it. Ceramic-coated in silver, when the finish dulls after a while they recommend you buff it up with chrome cleaner which works well, despite being a 'paint'. smile

I used someone else but since found that Zircotec & Woof are best quality, and Woof are slightly cheaper http://woof-tmt.co.uk/home

That would be for the airbox.

Painted, not powder coated, but worth posting anyway.

Inspired by the work done by Franky dB, I thought I would give it a try.

It's anodized effect purple, which looks good against the car paint. Lots more cleaning up to do over the winter though.

Powder coated red from TVR Power for me with the blue silicone hose kit after I'd fitted stainless steel rocker cover bolts. It's suprising how well the airbox polishes up with some T Cut too.

Nice. How much was your silicon hose kit, as I want to get mine done.

I also want to clean up my air box but I have a rubber/foam patch on mine as it rubs against the bonnet frown

Am temper to get the c/f one but trying to justify the HUGE outlay for one is hard work yikes

The hose kit was around £190 and I had Dom at TVR Power fit it at the same time as the service to cover it all in one job etc. It's quite pricey but the quality is excellent and looks pretty good too.

I would also love the carbon airbox but struggle to justify the cost, shame no one has developed a nice alloy one with just a carbon top cover. Think my next step will be to get the carbon spark plug cover to match.

You could always try talking to people that make a hinged bonnet tongue out
