Happy New Year folks.

I've finally finished the guide I'd promised on the S6 head reburb.
Hope it helps some of you who fancy doing some or all of it yourselves.

Here's the link (seems slow sometimes but give it time).

good job Pete,, just started having a read up but would it not have been easier to remove the engine completely, or was this option not chosen due to lack of space ect ect.

very good write up though mate.

Yep lack of space and height to get it out from underneath or top
With experience now I might drop the engine but still would be a challenge for me

Really great guide, well done! With some formatting changes, it would print nicely to sit in Graham's Sag Manual! smile

Pete what a cracking piece of work must have taken you hours thanks very much for sharing it. This engine is talked about as though it is a black art i am sure this will encourage more people to work on their engines many thanks

After the extensive book of Mr Varley this is a real piece of art. Thanks very much for this bulletin, it will help us to keep the Speed Six on the road. The only missing thing is information about the electronics, software and how to tune it. Is somebody capable to produce a extensive users manual?

Great write-up Pete.
It's actually nice reading material, even if your not doing the physical work smile

Is there more info available on electrics, like diagrams etc?
