My current car (2016 Sportage) uses the "Micro2" sized fuses. However, trying to find somewheret which stocks these, in the UK, at a not-silly price is proving difficult.

Can anyone help in where I can get some from? Halfords and local Motor Factors don't seem to stock them.

I bought some in Halfords at the weekend, about £4.00 for an assorted pack with about 6 in. Not the cheapest but they were open Sunday when I needed them!

Last year when I was fitting my dashcam hardwire for my 2015 Mustang GT I sourced fuse taps from eBay USA and Micro 2 fuses from my local Ford dealer parts department. I couldn't find Micro 2 at Halfords.

Micro 2 fuses may now be in better supply in UK

Very commonly used on motorbikes. I've never had an issue finding them.

Are you sure they were Micro2, and not "Micro" (AKA Low Profile Mini) fuses.

Halfords near me doesn't stock the Micro2 ones.

Many thanks Paul - And apologies for doubting you.

No problem! One thing I did find is the prongs are fractionally longer then the originals on my Ford, so they sit a tad proud but they fit.

Ah just what the world needs, a slightly different size and shape of fuse. I'm sure the extra millimetres saves are well worth it.

The joys of standardisation, if the current standards don't meet your needs, create a new standard! banghead
