Thinking of buying a Pioneer AVH-8800BT
Discussion
I've got a new motorhome on order and decided not to have the optional media player fitted.
Have been looking thro' the various offerings from Pioneer, Kenwood, Alpine, JVC and Sony.
I need a good quality amp as it will be playing when parked up on a campsite plus we want to connect the TV thro' the amp to use the better speakers in the living area. I must be able to plug in my iPad as this will be my Sat Nav. Also need a connection to my iPhone and an input for my USB hard drive which has all my music in FLAC format.
CarPlay sounds good, don't really need a CD/DVD drive also want DAB radio.
Out of all the products the Pioneer AVH-8800BT comes closest to my wish list, but is the sound quality any good?
Also notice that they have a GPS antenna socket. Does this mean that the unit has a GPS module? Can't find any details on its specification on the Pioneer website.
Any recommendations?

I have had one for about 3 months now. It does nothing badly at all. It has capability for all sorts. The screen is not the most responsive to touch, but the picture quality is first rate.
It has loads of adjustability. It's biggest feature for me though, is the removable front panel.
