Having only recently had an E92 M3 stolen that didn't have an active tracker in it I am looking to source one for a newly acquired replacement Porker.

In the old days i had a tracker system fitted to a 2001 Boxster (which fortunately I didn't have to utilise despite paying for three years of subscription fee).

I've been scouting about looking for a decent service, preferably with an app that you can monitor to see vehicle whereabouts.

Don't particularly want to pay the earth but definitely need something decent that will impact on my insurance premium when that's up for renewal.

Any recommendations?

If you want insurance discounts then it will need to be Thatcham approved or whatever category it is, I believe...

Have a quick google on the differences between cat 6 trackers and cat 5 trackers . I think cat 5 monitors everything and if the car moves without the keys or the secondary key fob it alerts them but other trackers you have to notice the car has gone which might be toooooo late if you are asleep or on holiday etc
