Im still a mouth to lung fan so fewer choices are reasonable prices. Hard to get 50/50

I use https://joosejuice.com. 200ml of 12mg for £18.30

You can mouth to lung any juice, the percentages are an individuals choice. Most juice will be 70VG/30PG which I used to happily vape mouth to lung.

I change juices every couple days but I’ve got Blue Slush in the Dead Rabbit SQ for out and about squonking and Cryo Fantasi in the Hadaly. Really nice.

I just bought some of the stuff from LiQuid as recommended on the old thread. I'll get that and see how it is before I go trying to upgrade hardware.

I don't really want to get 'into' all this, but I do want to get off the fags.

I dont like 70/30 so much which limits choice and I also like menthol/mint flavours again which limits supllier choice.

When I first started out I used to use Paradise vape.
They do 50/50 and have a menthol range

Using a 30 Watt iStick, a mini Protank 2 and 50/50 "Gold and Silver" by Diamond Mist, at 24mg.

I have this combo for 3 years now, vape mtl with 1.5 Ohms ans about 20 Watt.

Use about 600ml per year, have stocked up before the 10ml rule, and 1 L of 72mg concentrate if supply runs thin.

Until the last couple of days, Dr Frost Grape Ice, shorfill, in my lovely Smok Mag 225. Unfortunately, however, I dropped the Mag the other day, rather it fell out of my pocket and landed badly, and now it doesn't know whether it's coming or going, in fact, it's finally decided that a freshly installed 0.12 ohm coil is rated at 4.6ohm..

I fear it's buggered.

It might be but make sure the 510 pin at the bottom of the tank is fully screwed in - this is the cause of most issues with my tanks reading incorrectly

The mod's 510 pin might also need a little jiggle as well

Might be time to go shopping though which is always fun!

PIn in the atomiser is a push fit, just removed and re-installed. Still reporting 0.5 and diving straight to Atomiser Short.
Pin in the mod doesn't appear to want to jiggle in any way. I've already had the top cap off the mod and inspected it for any wire breaks, but nothing was evident.
Looks like it's the crappy Cirro from Tesco for a couple of weeks!

I'm still mixing my own from concentrates, or adding my own nicotine to shortfills - current shortfills are Manabush (various) Bunkr rhubarb tarte and Dripworx crumble.

My liquids arrived today, so I've charged the thing up and am testing it out.

As ever it makes a kind of cracky sound as I draw on it and the amount of vapour is piss poor. It says 1.9ohm, 4V, 8.5W on it.

Should I be cranking something up or is it just a bit st? (Eleaf iStick 30W/Aspire K1)

At 1.9 Ohm I would crank it up to 20 Watt, see what happens.

I usually go to Ohm x 10 in Watts.

Yeah I'd suggest upping the watts a bit to 15-20, 8.5 seems a bit low

Up the wattage in 0.5 increments until you find your sweet spot, I'd reckon about 14w max on a 1.9ohm coil.

Should work best at 12-15W from memory and it is a crackly little tank

However.. the K1 is a bit crap unfortunately (it's the tank I started with 4 years ago)... See if you can get hold of a K3 tank and fit some triton mini clapton coils in (1.8 ohm) should be dirt cheap and is a MASSIVE improvement

These 1.6ohm coils should help slightly though if you want to stick with the K1

Not a good rule... the lower the resistance, the higher the power, not the other way around. blast a 1.9ohm coil at 20W and it will burn the cotton instantly
