Hi all,

Just bought a Seat Leon FR 14 plate but unfortunately it does not have tech pack.

Is there any way I can get full link on the system without the tech pack?

There is currently no option for full link on the menu.

Full link wasn’t fitted until the MY16 changes - so 65 plate onwards.

You could probably retrofit it but I’m not sure if the cost is worth it. You would need the unit (that’s in the glovebox) a new screen, the correct usb loom etc (as it’s different to the older cars) and then it would need coding.

Alpine do an aftermarket carplay/android auto system for the Leon which is around 800 which might be an easier option

Thank you - think I will live withoit on that case!

Do you know if 14 plate fr comes with auto wipers / headlights as standard?

Pretty sure they weren't standard, albeit a very cheap option. Here's the standard spec for the FR year as I happened to have it saved:

FulLink would need an upgrade to the MIB 2 head unit which wasn't added until 2015/ 2016. I'd recommend https://vw-retrofit.co.uk/ if you want someone to retrofit

auto lights and wipers were not standard

AFAIK they were part of a 'pack' together with the auto dimming rear view mirror
